Born and raised in Marin County on the edge of the San Francisco Bay Area, Brett felt the gravitational pull of Maui when he first set foot on the island 26 years ago. He fulfilled his childhood dream of moving to Maui 13 years later. Now, after circling the globe—he’s been to 35 countries and counting—he still thinks Maui is the best place in the world.

Today, Brett resides in Pä‘ia, and when he’s not working in his office at Coldwell Banker Island Properties, there’s a good chance you’ll find him volunteering for a local nonprofit, coaching youth sports or spending time with his wife and newborn daughter.
