We had the good fortune to follow an Open House sign that led us to Aiko, who was the showing agent. We now consider her our “Hawaiian Blessing” – we had spoken with three other Realtors about Maui properties and didn’t feel like they were listening to us. Aiko asked questions and took careful notes so that the properties she identified for us to view met our criteria. She helped us find a wonderful Maui home where we can create many happy memories with our family and friends. We have purchased several properties over the years. We both agree that we have never had a Realtor who provided such thorough customer service. Even if we casually expressed curiosity about something, Aiko would find the answer – even if it had nothing to do with real estate. We moved into our newly built home in Wailea this past August 1st. Our joy was beyond words when we finally saw the completed house since the process was not entirely smooth and it took over 3 years from the planning to completion. Aiko-san was one of the people who helped to bring us this happiness. She thoroughly assisted us fund the construction by representing us for the sale of our condominium, coordinating with bank for financing arrangements during and after the construction. She handled all these very important and essential tasks most efficiently and with integrity. We were entirely impressed with the work of a talented lady who graduated from the best women’s college in Japan. We are confident that she will continue to help not only Japanese clients but people from all over the world buy and sell real estate here on Maui with her ability to work with three different languages! My husband and I have bought and sold many houses and condos in several states and recently purchased a home on Maui. Of all the real estate agents we have worked with, Aiko is the most professional, thorough, and competent agent we have ever encountered. Although we were on the mainland during the entire process, Aiko kept us informed in a timely manner, kept a meticulously detailed checklist, and provided immediate responses to our questions and concerns. I used Aiko as my agent when I sold a condo in Kihei remotely (through phone calls and emails) from Europe. She was fantastic and extremely efficient. We found Aiko quite by accident. We were putting a bid from California on a house in Wailea for which Aiko represented the seller. To keep things simple we asked her to be our agent as well. Although we and the sellers could not reach an agreeable price, we were very impressed by Aiko’s professionalism and her high ethical standard. So, we decided to retain her as our agent as we continued to look for other properties in South Maui. We spent a weekend with Aiko looking through a list of properties which Aiko carefully prepared and arranged for us after carefully taking notes on our preferences. During the showings, Aiko listened to our comments and kept asking questions to re-calibrate her understanding on what we liked. After flying back to California we decided to bid on two of properties we saw. We eventually reached an agreement with the seller on a property at Maui Meadows. Through out the month long escrow and due diligence process, Aiko tried to find out as much information as possible from her realtor and contractor network on the property in both pros and cons. She always had our best interests at heart and acted as a champion for us. Her attention to details helped the entire escrow process to move along smoothly. She also went well beyond what an agent will normally do to help us on many mundane tasks since we are thousands of miles away. We had bought and sold several houses and worked with many realtors. We can honestly say that Aiko Oka Jonas is the best of them. Her number one concern is helping us to get the best property with which we will be truly happy. She never seems to care about closing a deal quickly. She presents all the information needed to let us make our decision. We could not have been more pleased with the service Aiko provided. If we are ever in need of real estate buying or selling services again on Maui she will no doubt be the agent for us.

We were referred to Aiko by a friend. You will not regret selecting Aiko as your realtor. We purchased a condo in Kihei remotely from the US mainland and Aiko handled everything for us. In addition, she was able to negotiate the purchase for our target price. She was our eyes on the ground and scheduled all on-island appointments needed to close the sale. She scheduled the home inspection and was onsite during the inspection to answer our questions. This transaction went smoothly thanks to her expertise. She was always available to answer our questions and gave us regular updates letting us know which deadlines we had coming up. She explained the process before every step, which reduced our stress level and made us feel informed.
